The original thing that I want do is to combined two section and fit it in 1 A3 size board but it turns out it doesn’t fit if using scale 1:25. If I decided to use scale 1:50 instead, I can fit both section but there is a lot of spaces on the top and bottom. In the end, I decided to do only one section instead using scale 1:25 so that I can show more details of each floor of the café building.
My original idea to include two section instead of one
Understanding depth in design: Out of the three, I decided that I want to do section for my building because I think it is suitable for my multi-level of floor building instead of perspective view. By doing section, each floor can be shown more detailed in the inside.
I decided to cut from the rear of the building because a lot of details can be seen from this cut including the window display which is important. On the ground floor, a more detail can be seen inside the restroom. The first floor is where the window display, the kitchen and the dining area.
On the second floor is the dining area and also the activity area. The third and fourth floor are the same where the dining area and activity area can be seen more detail section cut. Other than that, the stairs leading from the second floor to the third floor can be seen here.
